Burger Patties, Potatoes and Green Beans
Lets talk food! – One of my favorite topics, please tell me I’m not alone
Recently we switched up our nutrition plan which actually has us eating way more than we were before. This has caused me to have to think a bit more about what we’re having. The type of food hasn’t changed a ton, it’s just the portions. Previously I never payed attention to how much of what we were eating. I just cooked and if we’re being honest, had way too much of the stuff we shouldn’t have been eating as much of!
In the whole process, this has become one of our favorite Dinners.
Here’s how I do it!
I do most of this in an Air Fryer. We got one for Christmas and honestly I don’t know how we went this long without it! I will include a link below to the one we have. For the last two weeks we’ve cooked almost exclusively in the air fryer.
I start off by cutting up the potatoes (measuring in containers the amount I need for both of us), tossing them with olive oil and some garlic seasoning. I put them in the fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Once they are done, I put them on a baking sheet and keep them warm in the oven.
While the potatoes are cooking, I start on the patties.
Tip – When you come home from the store, pre-measure using your containers your servings, then package and freeze. This makes life so easy because I just pull out the number of servings we need to thaw for the meal I’m planning. Makes life sooo much easier!
I mix the burger with Spicecraft Prime Steak and Beefburger Seasoning. This seasoning is AH-MAZING!
The place my family previously purchased our Christmas prime rib used this as their seasoning on their holiday prime rib. On one of my trips back home I found out they sold it and snagged some. We have been putting it on literally EVERYTHING lately!
After mixing, I portion the burger back out into portions, usually two for each of us. I place them in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
For the green beans, boil fresh green beans with water for 3-5 minutes, uncover and continue to cook until all the water is gone, then toss with olive oil and more garlic seasoning.
It’s all that simple!
